Product Updates

This release is a big one for venue teams. Event planning got a full redesign and we introduced Roo as your personal assistant.

A redesigned event planner

Planning events in Rookoo looks and works differently now. The calendar has cleaner day, week, and month views with grouped event cards, hover details, and status colors you can assign yourself. The event detail page moved to a sidebar layout: contacts, overview, and schedule live together, and timeslots open in a dedicated modal instead of inline editing. You can duplicate events with a start-date picker, reschedule by start day, and filter the board by who created each event.

Meet Roo

We introduced your own copilot to manage everything you do in Rookoo. Roo can update events, make changes to your assistants and much more. Roo just hatched so we are working and learning about what you are asking him to do and improving his skills along the way. We are excited so see what tasks you throw at Roo.

Real-time streaming in chat

Visitors and agents now get streaming message delivery in the widget and inbox. That just means way faster responses for people using the assistant through the web widget. Agent status indicators show when your assistant is thinking or responding, and duplicate messages are handled more cleanly so long conversations stay readable.

Psssst You can ask Roo to enable it on your inboxes

Reasoning for your assistant

You can now configure how much your assistant should reason. On high reasoning spends more time thinking before answering. Higher budgets may improve quality but increase latency.

Event conversations

Events can now have their own conversations, tying planning work directly to the thread where you talk to the client or team. When a conversation is deleted, linked events are updated automatically so nothing points to a missing thread. See the new page under inbox.

Standard procedures

Define standard procedures for your agents and reapply them when you need to reset or refresh agent behavior.

Pre-chat booking fields

The pre-chat form supports booking fields, availability options, event attributes, and a message field with localization.

Pricing updates

Use event labels as a pricing rule condition, and pricing has moved from items to rates for clearer rate management.

Widget deployment improvements

Manage disallowed URL patterns from the builder, and bubble launcher settings now persist from Builder to the live widget.

Closed and reservation-end slots

Scheduling supports reservation-end times and closed slots so overnight and blocked periods are modeled correctly.

Accessibility and UI polish

Attribute labels are full width, schedule headers stay sticky, dark mode fixes, and dozens of small layout and typography tweaks across planning and the inbox.
